Driftwood Art

A few words...

Longshore - existing on, frequenting or moving along the seashore

Flotsam - the wreckage of a ship found washed up on the beach

Jetsam - items from a ship that have been thrown overboard

Beachcomber - someone who searches the beach for treasures

“A picture paints a thousand words, and if this is true, then the frames that hold the pictures in my work tell you not what you are seeing, but the process, the history; they tell a story. Each frame and photo set I make is unique, an original which cannot be replicated. No two pieces of driftwood my friends and I collect are ever the same. Nature carves and sculpts it’s own patterns into what the sea leaves washed up on the beach for us to find.”
